I am thinking about building a computer for photo editing. It will also be used for a little bit of gaming and possibly some light video editing. I was thinking about starting to get the components in the next couple of weeks. I would like to spend no more than $1000 but right now I am around $1200 and that price is before the OS because I am not sure what I would like to have win 7 or 8 when it comes out. This is what I have picked out so far:

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 660 Ti GV-N66TWF2-2GD Video Card &
NVIDIA Gift - Borderlands2 Free Game Coupon
$299.99

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
$69.99

SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner SATA Model SH-222BB/BEBE
$16.99

G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
$84.99

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD),
ASUS P8Z77-V ATX Intel Motherboard,
McAfee Antivirus Plus 2012 - 1 User (Product Key Card), &
Newegg Promotional Gift Card - $15.00
$264.98

Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor &
Intel Gift - Intel Game Pad 0810 Mouse Mat
$309.99

CASE ROSEWILL | BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case &
Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-650 650W, Modular Design, Active-PFC Power Supply
$139.98

Grand Total:
$1,186.91

I am in the US and all those prices are from Newegg. Also, I don't need a keyboard, mouse, or a monitor (will use tv until I have it up and running) because I have them.

Thanks

Edit: If I overclock it will be very little and I would prefer Intel cpu and graphics is whatever one will work better for photoshop and lightroom

OK, since this is primarily a Photoshop machine and you're on a budget, you don't need to be buying $300 GPUs or $160 motherboard. Also, a "very little" overclock isn't worth doing in the first place, so let's save some money there as well.

Xeon E3-1230 V2 $240
ASRock B75 Pro3 $80
Kingston DDR3 1333 16GB $78
GTX 560 Ti $200 AR - CUDA support
Crucial M4 128GB $110
Samsung F3 1TB $70
Lite-On DVD Burner $18
PC P&C Silencer Mk III 600W $60 AR
Antec Three Hundred Two $70 - The Blackhawk + Hive combo is OK too if you like the looks of that better
Total: $926 AR

Actually, with a Z75 board for $5 more, I think you can do a "little overclock".

Although I'm not completely sure it applies to Xeons, the Newegg comments on that processor suggest it does.
