HELP on Chipset 925 express

I recently bought a DELL Demension 8400. After I reinstall the OS, I found my xp recognize the south bridge as 82801FB, and thus I have problem start XP under ahci mode. So I manually add the 82801FR driver and now the system could log on under XP but can not start under ata or combination mode. The most wired thing is that the Intel® Chipset Identification Utility recognize the chipset correctly before I add the driver, but recognize the chip as 82801FB after I update the driver. SO anybody can help me on this issue? THanks.
