I am looking for a camcorder around $300-$350. Can anyone recommend one for me with this price range?

What type? Hi8? Mini DV? DVD (mini or reg) R/RW? HD Based?

Anyways, I have a question on this also. I'm looking for a Mini DV. Theres a panasonic G250? That uses 3CCD lenses. Anyone used this or have suggestions on a good digital camcorder (mini DV - don't want DVD/HD).

OP, a good start is to go look at the reviews on Cnet or PCMag/World as a start. Look around for camcorder reviews and go from there. Find a decent looking camera in your price range and read multiple reviews. Cnet is nice cause you can sort by rankings and dates. I wouldn't just go by their reviews though. It's just a nice starting point.
