OKAY...I have read it all... :)

After much talking with my pals here in India and a much thoughtful consideration, I suppose Samsung Galaxy S i9000 is the best buy for me which will fulfill all my basic and essential requirements...and the price tag looks smarter too :D

Thanks to everybody for their expert opinions....planning to buy Samsung Galaxy S i9000 this weekend :p

I'd go with the Evo. My brother has it and it's just awesome.. loved the voice turn by turn directions and it is fast! i think it's the best out there right now, Especially if you're in an area which has 4G coverage.

Droid X. Front camera = gimmick novelty that nobody else gives a shit about except for forum epeen wars, kinda like bragging about a sunroof in a 25 hp car. Bubble gum machine gimmicks aside Droid X and Galaxy S are the most powerful devices on the market.

Depends what you mean by best, do you want more rotating beeping doodads than your friends, or do you want a powerful device with amazing specs that will last the day?

Great phone. Just picked up one yesterday (after two years on a BB Curve 8320).

I definitely agree with you there...but Droid X is CDMA, my number operates on GSM here in India :p

And finally, I am getting my new Samsung Galaxy S i9000 tomorrow morning, can't wait for that moment :D

Thanks :)

Hi guys,

Looking to buy on immediate basis the best of the smartphones out there. Budget is not a constraint at all. Please help in deciding one out of the below models:

1. iPhone 4
2. HTC Evo 4G
3. Sony Xperia X10
4. Google Nexus One

I've been using iPhone 2G since a long and now my top priorities are:

- Video Calling
- High Megapixel Camera
- Fantastic Sound Quality of Music
- Obviously, full touch screen functions those like iPhone

Thanks in advance...

The iPhone 4 has by far the best camera on the market now, megapixels dont reflect the cameras quality. Google iPhone 4 camera vs HTC to see for yourself. The video is also far better on the iPhone.

The iPhone and EVO both have video calling, both have drawbacks. iPhones video calling is much more stable and easy to use, required no setup, very user freindly, android requires 3rd party app that has a problem with crashing, but can make 3G calls.

iPhone leads in the music department, clearly

The iPhone is still the leader in touch screen, the frame rate and responsiveness is extremely high. If your used to the iPhone 2G, youll wont like the choppy feel of its competitors.

If you disagree with anything ive said, Google it all yourself, its factual. Furthermore, go to a AT&T and Sprint store yourself and play with the phones

At last, grabbed my hands on my Samsung Galaxy S I9000....Sleek, stylish, fast, jazzy... :)

Completely satisfied with the UI, Touch Flow and Application Support...one special thing to mentioned is TouchWIZ UI provided by Samsung is fantastic... :D

Thanks to everybody for their precious words :p
