Hi.
I want to build a pc for the first time, so i need some help on what to choose.
I'll be using this pc for some gaming, and the regular stuff --- internet, chat, office..
Im still not sure on whether i should get AMD or Intel, but for now, i decided to stick to amd. If you think i should switch, please tell me why.
Here are my specs:

Case - A-Top AT859A-SV-LCD XBlade Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply - Retail
- OR -
Rosewill TU-155 Black Steel/Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400W Power Supply - Retail
Which one would u choose?

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Integrated into Chip FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3000BPBOX - Retail

Motherboard - I need help choosing this one. Anyone have any suggestions? should be at most $150

DVD Burner - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827136049

Ram - CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory - Retail
Is it better for ram to be 2x512 or 1x1gb? does it even matter?

HDD - Western Digital WD Caviar WD1600JD 160GB Serial ATA 7200RPM

How is this?
should i change anything?

thanks

amd seems to be for gaming, although the 3000+ is comparable to a 2.8 ghz p4 HT or above. the p4 is alot better for multitasking and doesn't lag so much with mutliple applications. amd is good for games.
