Help on anyone who's got a k6-2+ 500 on a regular board NOT a mobile one

I got a k6-2+ 500 for my Asus p5A-B, i got the thing up to 600, does anyone have any experience with this and know how to turn off the powerstep technology thing? Or does anyone have any experience with this at all?

I'd check out the K6-X Forum on the Message Board at SlotA.com. Those guys would be the ones to know.
