how to grahp this? don't have a graphing calc.

thanks

Edit: didn't come out right. 6 times X to 3rd power + 11 times x to 2nd power - 4 times x

3 2
6X(cube) + 11X(square) - 4X - 9
-----------------------------
3X - 2

here's an easy way to figure it out:
if x = 0 then y = ???

now you've got a starting point 🙂
next, your slope is m = 3x... remember that your slope is rise over run... there for you move three steps up vertically for each step right horizontally

Simple, no? 🙂

simplify first: to get

13x-9
-----------
3x -2

you can find where it is undefined by seeing when the denominator is equal to 0
you can find where it crosses the x axis by seeing when the numerator = 0

find the long term behavior (it should approach 1)
