Help on AC'97 on GA-7ZXE mobo

My Gigabyte GA-7ZXE mobo with built in sound(AC97) keeps playing 'trembling' sound... I updated the newest drivers for the on board sound, but problem still persist.... is it my board that's faulty? pls help. thanx in advance
