Help OC'ing a 148 Opty

All my specs are in my signature. I'm running a 10x multiplier on a FSB of 275 w/ a 7/10 divider on my RAM. I know I'm doing something wrong. With my setup, there should be no reason I can't hit 3 GHZ on the Opty. Stepping information is also in my signature. All and any suggestions, hints, advice will be appreciated.

Even better if you have the same setup I have and tell my what settings you used to OC your opty.

there is no reason why you SHOULD get 3ghz either... OCZ golden orb isnt exactly the best cooler..

That's a Thermaltake Golden Orb, foo.

The Golden Orb is like the Zalman CNPS7700 series, which isn't as good as it used to be. Get a new heatpipe based cooler (Scythe Ninja, Scythe Mine, Thermalright Si-120, Sunbeam Tuniq Tower, etc) and you should be able to get a higher OC.

why not use the 11 multi??

i believe you are problems setting the ram, put a amd64 tweaker shot
