HELP! nuisance phone calls

glen

Lifer
There must be a way to stop these nuisance phone calls.
From what I can tell, the last person to have the phone number must have been on some sort of message center.

Ring -This is the message center for Hope Deboyce. If this is the caller press #, otherwise press *.
This happend every 45 mins.
The phone company Vorizone says they can't tell who is calling and they can't block it. The only thing they have offered to do is change my phone number.

try to trace the call, *69 or something, then google the number or what ever info you get

then start calling them relentlessly

It is a computer that calls - so I can't ask anyone to stop calling.

The number is blocked, so I can't call them back.

Call the person a racial slur who is on the other end.

Or even better, pretend you ARE that other person and start fvcking with their business.

Get an answering machine and absolutely never pick up the phone until you hear the caller talking and you know you want to talk to them. Over time the marketing calls drop to about zip. It takes about a week to overcome the lifetime of conditioning to pick up the phone on the first ring. We've gone a step further in turning off the ringers on our phones. We don't know anyone is calling until the answering machine kicks in.

Have you tried farting into the phone? It wouldn't fix the problem, but it might be kind of funny.

Half an hour later I am still giggling like a giddy little schoolboy. I'm going to try and fit this into my sig 😀
