I'm in the process of building a new home server. I don't know much about matching power supplies to motherboards
I need to know what types of power supplies will work with my Abit NF7 motherboard.
Also, the power supply needs to fit my case which is a Thermaltake Armor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks....

If you're planning to overclock with the NF7 at all then you need a really good PSU with at least 400W and really beefy 12v rail. PC P&C, OCZ, Antec, Tagan, Enermax etc. are all good.

Indeed.

That's an older motherboard andy you probably shouldn't need anything beyond the normal 300-400 watt range P/S. Antec, Enhance, PCP&C, Seasonic should take care of you fine. I wouldn't recommend OCZ though.

Au contraire Beachboy, I had my primary system on NF7-S for years running insane overclocks on watercooling and if there's one component that you simply MUST not skimp on it's the PSU, I even eventually killed an Enermax 431W! Headroom is always a good idea for stability.

Older tech means HIGHER power consumption especially when coupled with newer more powerful graphics cards.
