Help! Noob question

Hey guys,

Got this heatsink/fan...

However I'm not used to the vertical style coolers. Which way should the fan point, towards the front of the case or the back?

What case do you have? In some cases, like the antec P180 has a back and top exaust fan whick line up right with the CPU cooler. If you point the fan twards on of those you get a push pull effect increaseing cpu cooling.

I have an antec case...and yes there is a fan right beside the processor there. I'll mount it that way.
