Help: Nikon Coolpix 775 Camera w/ Win98

Maybe the wrong forum, but considering how desperate I am...😱

The system can recognize the camera, but it can not transfer the photos at all. After I click on the transfer button, the progress bar shows up, but it stays at 1% forever. Looks like Nikon isn't providing any software service patch.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
