Just got my nf7-s v2.0 from newegg, everything is plugged in... turns on, but nothing shows up on my screen.

2500 XP-M, tried using my old 1700xp

350 watt enermax psu

2x512 geil platinum pc3500, tried using 1 stick of my old pc2700 ram too

Radeon 9800 Pro, tired using my old gf3 ti200

resetted the bios a few times

still nothing is showing up... i get no post, no beeps, nothing.

it is probaly fried, but if i hot swap the bios with a friend and reflash it, can that fix it? or is the motherboard fried for good

I'm suspicious of the power. Is the motherboard in the case, all snugly screwed in? That's important for good grounding.
Do you have another PSU that you can try?

i've tried it in and out of the case and with two different PSUs. my current enermax 350 can easily power the asus a7n8x

If you have a CompUSA nearby, they'll put a test card in, and tell you for sure if its fried. Helped me out once (no charge). Service levels of your RipoffUSA may vary.

some mobo's process of clearing the CMOS is wierd.

I also have the NS7, and I have to turn off the power supply, then switch the jumpers for clearing the cmos; switch back..

Then flip on the power supply...and turned the computer on....for me that works. It never works when I have the psu on and attempt the clear the cmos...

oh yeah, and make sure the cpu is in all the way.

hehe that happend to me once b4. You have to hold down the cpu when locking it in place, otherwise one side will just slightly stick out...wierd...hehe. I have the NS7 as well, so it happens hehe.
