Hello,

I'm a computer novice and need some help.

I have a IBM Aptiva 2174, 600 Mhz AMD processor.

My first question is how do I find out what brand and type of motherboard I have, the IBM literature is very unhelpful,I opened the case and could not find anything on the motherboard that had a brand or anything.

Second, I bought a Viper II 32MB video card and it says it can do 2x or 4x AGP, and I was wondering how do I determine if my motherboard can do 4x.

Thanks to all in advance.
