I am setting this up on a corporate network where I need to use a static IP, is there a way to get to the network settings to enter this info before it tries to update. Currently doesn't seem to have any way to get to those settings at all, is there a hidden key sequence or something to break out of the update screen to enter the network settings?

If it needs to use a static IP how did it get the IP to begin with if you didn't set it? I'm guessing it was dynamically assign, but that seems to conflict with static corporate environment setup. What happens if you simple pull the power cord while it is d/l the update and then powering it back up without any physical network connectivity?

I ended up taking it home and letting it get all the updates there. I didn't really explain this very well but our network is dhcp so when the xBox was initially powered on it grabbed an address however it couldn't talk to anything because all those ports it uses are blocked. In order to allow it to work we are assigning it a static IP which they will then open up the necessary ports for that IP only.
