help new with new computer

this was my first computer build and everything went well until i started up the computer and then this loud buzzing noise came on. So then i laid the computer case horizontally and the noise went away. But then as soon as i placed the case vertically the noise came up. Can anyone help me could it be a defective part??

Proccessor: Amd 3200+ 64 Venice
Stock AMD heatsink with Radio shack goop
Ram 2x512 Corsair value select
GFX: Refurbished Saph. X800 PCIE
Motherboard: EPOX EP-9NPA+Ultra NF4
PSU: FSP 500 watt ATX 2.0
