Help! New Webcam Keeps Locking Up in Netmeeting

I got one of those free after MIR IBM PC Camera Pro webcams last week and running it on Windows 2000. It works fine and has a decent picture. However, whenever I use Microsoft Netmeeting and the call is ended (either by myself or the other person), Netmeeting locks up EVERY SINGLE TIME! The camera stays on and I can't shut down Netmeeting no matter what I try. In fact, Windows 2000 won't even shut down; I have to hit the "restart" button.

Any ideas?
