HELP NEW PC!!

I have a sata drive and i was installed utility drivers for my mobo, and i accidently installed IDE drivers and now when i try to reformat it said i couldnt because the harddrive was in use. there is an icon in the right hand corner of the bar that says "Safely remove hardware" i click on that it says selected the divices i wantto unplug or eject and it says the hardware i want tor emove is samsungsp1213c.

How about go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management and work on it there. Or uninstall the utility/driver that you just installed.
