hey gurus, new pc wont recognize my 80 gig sata drive so i can install windows xp. new to sata and was wondering if it was something simple this dummy overlooked🙂

Um, driver disk?
SATA drives are usually treated as SCSIs, and WinXP needs extra drivers loaded at the beginning of the setup.
