Help! New P3V4X bios underclocked my CPU!

I have a 650MHz CPU ..latest stepping

I downloaded the latest bios from asus.
Problems:

I only have about 15 option for the bus speed.

the bus speed that I select won't give the right CPU speed. Eg. 150 FSB should give 975 MHZ. But I'm getting results lower than 600MHZ.

What's going on?

make sure the dip switches on the board are in auto & then use the bus speed setings in the bios.

hi, i had the same problem with any bios after 4.02. reading a p3v4x site you are definately not alone. most have gone back to 4.02 and some like myself are still using bios 3.0 .

The latest BIOS for P3V4X is 1005, some people were having problems with 1004, so ASUS pulled it after one week.

LegionX, are you sure that you were talking about BIOS?
