ok, so i got my new 2500+ and a7n8x-x mobo last night.., and re-using my old radeon7000, got everything in the case and started to install windows. just as i got to the part where it asks you to put in the names of all the users, everything goes blank and the system restarts. so i boot from cd again, and repair. this time i get into XP, but then it suddenly freezes and restarts. after several re-installations, with the same happening each time, i get a nice blue screen, informing me that the driver "atidvag" is causing an infinite loop! i tried (before everything froze) to update the driver using the radeon7000 cd, as well as the asus nforce2 driver cd, windows saying it couldn't find a better driver than the one it was using. i also tried changing some settings in the bios.. tried agp apeture of 64, 32 mb.. agp bus of 50 and 66mhz.. disabled agp 8x.. i don't know what else to do??!?! anyone have any suggestions? thanks, i'm so frustrated this isn't working!

well i figured it out (i think..). seems that the version on windows didn't have the right driver set on it, so i tried with a newer windowsxp cd and it seems to be working so far!

but, the voodoo3 doesn't fit becuase it doesn't have a cutout for the 1.5V agp (i think that's what it is)
