So BF2 was giving me problems, so I decided to update all my drivers, to see if that would help. I updated the Geforce Drivers and NForce drivers,a restarted and right after i typed in my password to log on, the machine blue screened. I flashed the bios to the latest version, turned off all my oc's, no dice. Is there some way to roll back the drivers, or what? HELP!

It's not irreplacable, but it would take me several hours to replace all the stuff, plus all my saved games, and also I don't have my XP CD with me (I just moved,it back at my old house). Advice other than reformatting, please.

Yes, try this first. If you can, then just uninstall all the drivers and reboot.

That being said, i find it hard to believe the drivers alone caused this problem. You must have something else going on here.

I think this might actually be the cause for the issue. There's a long thread on the Motherboards section discussing how the new thing either fixed people's problems or caused a ton of problems for them.

Edit:

I found it.

Listen, let me give you a heads up next time. Please do NOT download any drivers with the model number containing all 6's :Q. Evil only comes out of that :(.

Ahh, it seems as though it most likely is just a driver problem. That's pretty messed up.

All fixed. All I can say is, Safe Mode ROCKS! :) Uninstalled the horrible, HORRIBLE drivers (you'd think "6.66" would've tipped me off), put in the ones on the CD that came with the mobo, and I'm fine. Wow, that was close.
