HELP - New ASUS Board and AMD 1.4 keeps warning/beeping - normal - ?

I just got a new comp[uter with ASUS MB and AMD 1.4 GHZ processor...the processor/MB monitor keeps popping up every 5 mintues will small voltage drops, low fan speed and once even temp spike. Also, the Case fan does not register any RPM?

Is this normal? Do others just turn these monitors off?
 
sounds pretty normal. what you have to do is go into asus probe and configure it to higher and lower thresholds. this will prevent it from freaking out.

often fans won't register with it either (they need to be 3 conductor to register rpm's)

also, i'd suggest removing it from running at startup. just open it when you want to monitor temps, then close it when done
