Help networking with Remote Desktop.

I set up remote desktop on two machines running XP pro. Everything seems to work fine.
The problem is that I want to place one of the machines in a closet and remotely control it. The computer that I will control prompts for a password before windows loads. How can I take control of the pc to enter the password?
I know I could just remove the password but I would rather not.

why not try it.

I probably wasn't clear. It will not let me when I try.
As soon as I go to the other machine and type the password in then the other pc will let me connect. Is there some setting that I may have overlooked?

Well, I took out the password for now.

Is there any way to reboot the pc I am connecting to? It only lets me Log off or Disconnect.
