Help Needed with UDMA and RAID 0 (NEWBIE w Win2k)

I have two Maxtors setup up on a Promise FasTrack 100 controller. After thinking about this, I think I should have one drive on each channel instead of both on the same cable (or channel). Suggestions here?

Also, I'm trying to find out if the drives are actually using UDMA (ATA100) with Win2K. I can't find the mode these drives are in. I've applied the hotfix after I installed the raid, but still can't find where I check the mode the drives are in with Win2k. I've looked at the drives in Device Manager, but only the raid shows.

Help appreciated.

You need to use both channels otherwise you defeat most of the purpose of having raid 0. Don't worry about ata100. There are still no drives that really take advantage of it. Raid 0 running at ata66 will more than make up for one drive at ata100.
