Help needed with flashing Nvidia bios

I could probably figure this out, but would prefer not to do trial and error with the bios.

Have an Abit GF4 4200

1.) Just want to verify that there would be no problem replacing the current bios with the most recent reference bios, or should I use the Abit bios that is still a revision back, but newer than what is on the card?

2.) What string should I use with the nvflash command to update my bios and make sure that I backup my current bios?
