I have set up a system based on an MSI i810-based motherboard, but it doesn't seem to be working. Since this is my first foray into integrated video, I wonder if I have set everything up properly. The board hangs on boot with the MSI diagnostic showing two red lights, corresponding to initialization of the Video BIOS (don't remember exact terminology, but it's definitely the video). I cleared the CMOS thinking that perhaps the video was disabled in the BIOS, but that didn't change anything.

Is there something I should check with jumper settings or cables or something like that? I'm at a loss. I do not have a PCI video card to test either. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think a lot of motherboards with onboard video have a jumper to turn off the video instead of having it in the bios.
