My company has 3 catchall email accounts...

info@companyA.com
info@companyB.com
info@companyC.com

We use MDaemon and DomainPOP to log into these accounts to parse thru the mails' receipients.

marketing@companyX.com is our main 'enquiry' email address.

marketing@companyA.com and marketing@companyB.com works.. we can log in and retrieve mail from info@companyA.com and info@companyB.com without problems.

However, emails to marketing@companyC.com never gets delivered to info@companyC.com!

How can I determine if it's a problem with my ISP or my MDaemon settings?

Edit. Umm.. since it never gets to info@companyC.com it's probably my ISP yeah?

speak to your isp the problem lies at thier end. if you have confirmed that the all mail but the marketing is hitting that mail box without mdaemon in the equation then it defiantely lies with them.

a good test would be take mdaemon offline send some mails to the box then telnet in and check for a telent shell to be 100% sure.

command for telnet are

telnet pop.isp.com 110
user username
pass password
stat
retr x
quit

stat will tell you how many message retr replace the x with the message number you wish to view and of course change the isp server and user/pass for yours :p

Thanks Fuzznuts. I tried and confirmed that no marketing@companyC.com mails were going to info@companyC.com.

So, I called my ISP's support line, and guess what? It turns out they gave us a separate address for marketing@companyC.com! That's just weird... why would we have one for companyC and not for A and B? That's beyond me... it was setup this way when I came... <shrug>

D'oh well. I finally logged in and found mails dating back to February!
