9800GX2 compatable psu list

Your e6300 at stock speeds is a little weak for a 9800GX2, but your pc WILL run the 9800GX2. your motherboard has the needed PCI-E x16 slot.

Also, you have to keep in ming the 9800GX2 is a long card, it may not fit in your case.

Your budget is 3000 Rupees for the card or the PSU? That's only $75; it'll buy you a decent PSU but certainly not a 9800 GX2...

As far as warranty and shipping, you'll probably have customs/import issues with such an expensive item, and I highly doubt it would be easy to receive warranty service from XFX or BFG etc. in India. You'd have to ask locally and see which manufacturers if any have local service centers.

Not sure of any online vendors that will ship to India. And from what I hear, the inflation on video cards is pretty big over there.

I think ExcaliberPC ships internationally to just about anywhere. No experience with them, though. I normally ask a friend/cousin in the US to pick up a card from Newegg and bring it over. There is always someone coming every few months.

I don't think EVGA has any presence in India but XFX sure does.

The only option is Ebay and price gouging is crazy. Typically 300% of US pricing, I kid you not. This applies to just about any electronics. Just yesterday, I was looking at some Harman Kardon A/V Receivers.

The AVR 247? $900 here, $374.99 on Amazon. Most gamers and A/V enthusiasts just have their friends/relatives bring stuff in from the US or the Middle-East. Customs is a non-issue, they don't care about electronics or computer components.
