Hello

Let say I want to create a surfing terminal where a user can only surf maybe fill in some forms.

How can I do this with win9X?
Linux solution can be accepted too.

Thanks.

Have you tried the Policy Editor in the Win9x resource kit? What about the IEAK as well? This only applies to IE. Can't think of anything for Netscape, although you can use the Policy Editor to lock out most of the OS and just let people use certain applications.

Hello Andy,

Actually I do not of such thing. 🙂
Anyway, will explore it tonight.

More suggestion are welcomed.

Thanks.

There was a post a while back in software or tech support about customizing an OS for a 'cybercafe' situation, which sounds similar to what you're trying to do. Might wanna try a search for that, it may be in the archives by now though...
