Help needed setting up wifi an older Mac

I have a wifi setup at home using a Mac book pro and power book G4. They both have an Airport card and work perfectly over wifi. I also have a Mac pro desktop Intel 2008 model which has no Airport utility installed so I purchased a Newertech Wifi USB dongle from OWC and I am having a lot of trouble configuring it. If someone is familiar with any of these configurations I would sure appreciate some help as after spending the whole weekend trying I finally gave up until I found this forum. Thought I'd give it one last try. btw I did call my ISP tech support and OWC for help but came away no wiser. They basically gave up.

Have you tried other USB ports? Do other USB devices work on the Mac Pro? Does the USB stick work on the other Macs?
