My current setup is as follows -

Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 processor
1GB PC2-6400 OCZ Platinum XTC Series DDR2
Leadtek PX 7900 GTX TDH Extreme 512MB PCI-E SLI video card

The only thing extra i've bought is an Akasa Evo blue cooler for the processor. Everything else is as it was bought from the shop. What i'd like to know is, is it possible to easily overclock this system? I don't know much about overclocking so any advice would be welcome, thanks!

Given your processor and excellent RAM, you seem to be set of OCing. I don't know how well your mobo OCs, but if it OCs well, then the only other factors to consider are PSU and CPU cooling (I've never heard of your cooler).

I'm not sure if you can post pictures on here but if you do a google search you'll a few good reviews. It cost me £35 GBP / $68 USD (not sure if that's classed as a cheap one) My PSU is a Seasonic 500W S12-500.

I'm going to have a go at overclocking this weekend after reading a few guides.
I've also read Yoxxy's "Core 2 Duo/DDR2 Memory Guide" and although i've been told my OCZ ram is fairly good can anyone recommend any other that's available in the UK. Most of the items listed are only available in the US (that's what i've found anyway).

Thanks!

Your only problem is the ram. You can probably only get it to 2.8-3 ghz, but who knows for sure. Start my trying 401 fsb at stock vcore, and see if it even posts. That will give you an idea where you stand.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I would be happy at 2.8ghz to start with but seen as i have the money i might as well by some ram that will get me that bit further! Maybe eBay is my best option?
