Alright here's my situation.....
I've got a Plextor UltraPlex 40Max and an older Smart and Friendly burner (both SCSI). I'm looking to get one of Plextor's new burners and I see they have 12x versions in both SCSI and IDE. I really like the IDE version better and it is significantly cheaper. I just don't know if it even makes sense to have a SCSI CDROM and an IDE CDRW though. I'm open to any good suggestions. I like my UltraPlex, but I'm not against selling it and purchasing a good IDE CDROM (Teac, Kenwood?) to replace it (though I know nothing will really match Plextor's overall quality
). Not really sure what my best option is, but with all the really bright people here I'm sure I'll find that out. Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it.
