Help needed on acronym

As a danish guy, sometimes i get confused by some of the acronyms used in forums. Yeah, most of the time i can "decode" 'em, but one that has puzzeled me for monthas is "LOL", I know then u use it and so forth, but not the exact meaning. Please, i need to be enlighted!

They don't include the one that puzzled me for the longest: B&M of Hot Deals fame.
I thought it meant "Brag and Moan" (i.e. the sticky thread at the top).

Its Brick and Mortar, for those who don't know. As in a real store, not a website.

Anybody know the origin of the word "NEF"?

Nef was originally a user here... and he made pointless posts. Eventually he got banned for that behavior, and now whenever anybody else makes a pointless posts, they're called a 'nef'.

"friggin"? I always thought it mean uh, 'foreign'. ;)
