if someone can explain to me what is going to happen... it'll me greatly appreciated

I'll try to make it short and concise as possible.

I did not meet the GPA requirement after my first year in college (public university).. so I took three classes during Summer A term to meet that requirement.

I transferred the credits to my home institution and after all the summer terms are over.. they will recalculate the cumulative GPA and send it to the financial place. (That's what they told me,,,, all I had to do was make sure the credits are transferred and I did)

Now... I also have a loan but the award amount on the stafford promisionary note was wrong since the scholarship has not been included in the award letter yet. So I did not the sign the note agreeing to receive that much of amount. I was told from one of the financial officers to wait til the award letter is updated with the new scholarship info (guessing that I will be able to renew the scholarship)

today, I received a letter from the student financial affairs stating they are unable to request mt direct loan funds since I did not complete the confirmation of the loan (signing the promisionary note)

my question is... when will the award letter be updated reflecting my scholarship renewal?

also.. what is going to happen with the loan amount? I need to take a loan .. but a lesser amount after the scholarship comes through. I'm assuming they will send me another promisionary note later

thanks if you have any info on this.
