The time has come to build a new PC and was hoping for a few tips in selecting a motherboard. I am not upto date with developments in computing since building my last PC seven years ago but know what I basically need. I need a PC that will run the latest games and for some years to come. I am not interested in overclocking or running multiple graphics cards which I didn't know you could do until recently. I need onboard sound and onboard ethernet and ATX form factor. I don't want onboard graphics. I need a motherboard that will run the latest processors although not sure at moment whether I will splash out on top CPU. It's nice to have the option to upgrade in the future though. My last PC was Gigabyte AMD based so would prefer to go with the same again. Also, I don't want to spend more than £80 on a MB.
I have come up with Gigabyte's GA-870A-UD3 which sounds ideal. Can anyone recommend this MB?
I used this site for recommendations when selecting my last MB and was very pleased with the choice.
All help and tips much appreciated. Thanks.
