Help! Will MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G fit in my Bitfenix Nova case? Im little bit scared will it fit, the case max Video graphic card size is 320mm/140mm, and that MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G Card Dimensions are (mm) 277 x 140 x 35

i also have Asus Z170-PRO motherboard in it..

and what i can say i can fit max 160mm CPU Cooler in it.. i have noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler and its so so so fitted in it, its almost touching to the window..

so im little bit scared will this MSI Graphic card fit in my case? Do i have space to put cables in it? Or does it fit in at all.. Help :( :(

Sorry for my bad english,
I appreciate for help, greetings from Finland!

First of all, +1 to you for measuring before posting!

Secondly, and to the point, I wouldn't risk it. Do you have other options? EVGA has a 970 that measures 9.50" (241.3 mm) long, so you won't even have to worry about it.

What about Strix GTX 970? Damn i wanted so much that MSI well.. #### happens it doesnt fit in my case :l

Also in some forum they said that EVGA has a bad quality.. and the heat sinks wasnt in right positions??? :-S My price range is 300-400 euros graphic card, So others than EVGA?

@Ketchup It doesn't seem to me he's concerned with the length of the card... And no reason to be, 43mm of space is plenty.

@DonkiMonki The 140mm graphics card height limitation likely has to do with side facing PCIe connectors. I think you'll be fine, though the cables will probably touch the window. If you want more space, go with EVGA ACX 2.0 or Asus Strix.

It's not clear to me if you already own the Bitfenix Nova or not. If you don't, I'd rather recommend Core 2300. If you do, the case has only one fan by default and it'd be a good idea to install another fan, an Arctic F12 for example. If your motherboard doesn't have free case fan headers, you'll need a splitter cable (y-cable).

Definitely not bad quality. The heat sink is imperfectly aligned, sure, but it still works fine and stays pretty quiet and cool.

These are my "budget gaming rig" specs

CPU: Skylake i5-6600K 3.5GHz ~ OC 4.0GHz
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC 2048 MB GDDR5
Motherboard: Asus Z170-PRO
RAM: Kingston 8GB HyperX Fury DDR4 2666MHz
PSU: Corsair 750W RM750x 80 Plus Gold
SSD Kingston 120GB HyperX Fury SSD SATA III, 2.5
Fans: 2x BitFenix Spectre Green Led Pwm Fan 120mm, 1x BitFenix Spectre Pro Green Led Fan 120mm
Case: Bitfenix Nova White w/window

Im lacking off better graphic card and 2TB HDD...
Thinking to take risk of that MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G.. I will upload some pictures tomorrow inside of my case so you can see space of case..

Nice specs. Don't you think a red MSI card is going to look out of place amongst green LEDs, white motherboard and Noctua-brown CPU cooler? Just sayin' .. EVGA ACX 2.0 would look better in there ;)

what about this 2.0+ version? EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+, 4GB GDDR5, PCI-E 3.0, Whats better in that compared on that normal 2.0? Also what you think if i change that Noctuan brown NF-F12 PWM fan to the Noctua 120 x 120 x 25mm NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM? also what is difference of IP67 and IP52, they have different prices and specs are same.. that NF-F12 have much much bigger RPM so what you think? Also Noctua 120 x 120 x 25mm NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 PWM would be nice fan cooler for CPU but i think that 43,5 dBA noice is too much :D but anyway im thinking change to the that 2000RPM version the min RPM is 450 but that 3000RPM version has min 750RPM D:

In gaming my CPU temperatures goes to the 56C with brown NF-F12 so i think that 2000RPM would be nicer?

Also here's the pics, as you can see on the last pic, you can see space/room of the GTX 750 TI so thats what im thinking on the will any other GTX 970 fit on it than EVGA..

While the fans are unchanged [compared to ACX 2.0], the rest of the cooling solution has been rethought. There's now a full cover cooling plate which, via thermal pads, draws heat away from the four front-mounted memory chips and all of the MOSFETs, with EVGA claiming that it reduces their temperatures by 14 and 47 percent respectively. Whatever the real figure, it's always preferable to see cards taking care of these critical components. As for the GPU, it's still cooled by three heat pipes, but they've been reshaped and are entirely straight, which is said to improve performance by 6 percent. The heat pipes now also draw heat away via a copper baseplate, rather than making direct contact with the GPU as before.

Also what you think if i change that Noctuan brown NF-F12 PWM fan to the Noctua 120 x 120 x 25mm NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM?

2000 RPM seems overkill, although at 450RPM minimum it will be very quiet at idle and you can adjust the fan profile manually in UEFI. Personally I would get a black/white fan to complement the motherboard and case. The Arctic F12 mentioned earlier comes as a PWM version as well, it's decent for CPU cooling and very quiet.

also what is difference of IP67 and IP52, they have different prices and specs are same..

56C is about 20-25C below the point where you need to start to worry... you don't need a higher performing fan.

You know about Google, right? ;)

Ahh i think i will get EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+, 4GB GDDR5 OR
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW+ ACX 2.0.. Because they fit in my case.. Also would be nice if that SSC have backplate already installed.. :/ Because googles says it doesn't have :S

How about this: Gainward GTX 970 Phoenix 320€ shipped from Mindfactory.de. Much better value than any GTX 970 from Finland right now, fits nicely (124mm tall) and runs cool and quiet too.... For instance, EVGA SC is 360€, MSI Gaming is 370€, EVGA SSC is 380€. These are pretty close to launch prices 1,5 years ago...

If you want you can also upgrade your RAM to 16GB at the same time, it's much cheaper in Germany. This is a nice kit: G.Skill 2x8GB DDR4-3200 90€. In Finland, similar kits are at least 10-20€ more expensive, in some cases 30-40€, and availability is poor.

am i blind or why i cant find those RAM's on QVL List http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-PRO-GAMING/Z170PG_DRAM_QVL_20160323.pdf

Also that phoenix sounded good but when i looked for informations.. Memory clock is 3500 MHz in phoenix and others like Strix or EVGA has 7010 MHz.?

RAM that isn't mentioned in QVL's works fine, as long as it's the right type of memory (in this case, desktop DDR4). At least, for the vast majority of time. Sometimes you might find that a kit doesn't work properly, then you'll turn to the QVL and play it safe. But that's pretty rare.

It says 7000 MHz here: http://www.mindfactory.de/product_i...enix-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_1013941.html

edit: There are different ways to report memory speeds... See here:
http://www.geeks3d.com/20100613/tut...-clock-real-and-effective-speeds-demystified/

So, no real difference in speed, all GTX 970's have roughly 7GHz effective memory clock.

Looks very nice! I can't help but think that seven fans are just a tad overkill for cooling about 250 watts worth of CPU and GPU... You can set all of them to their lowest speeds and enjoy the quiet PC.
