well its gonna be a cocky topic guys but i need help as im not very well versed in this techincallity first of
ok i need to assemble a system within limits
well what i actually need is a MOBO+CPU+graphic card+RAM <= $400

the rest are not particularly important as i am looking for good deals on them already but yeah if you guys have suggestions it is always welcomedText
thanks you guys and hope to hear from you soon as im looking at getting a killer system which should be worth it, at least i wanna feel its worth it...im really tight on budget so please understand 🙂
been crackin my head for some time, hope ATForums resolves the pain...haha
ciao guys..and thanks.

What are you going to use the PC for? If not for gaming there are some good motherboards with integrated video. That would save you a bundle there you could use for more ram.

i say look up about 5 threads running this kind of topic in the same forum...

but here is what i would buy:
athlon 1700 OEM with cheap HSF: $50
ASUS A7n8X DX: $130
2 sticks of 256mb whatever major brand: $90
any sub-$100 Ti4200: $90

the leftover $60. may consider throwing it into getting a 2500barton for $40 more.

do research on newegg and hotdeals forum= win

heh seriously reading other people's threads are very helpful and doing research on newegg and hotdeals will save you tons of money

<3 hotdeals forum it scored me the $10AR WD1200BB

Mobo, cpu, vid, ram. If that's all you need, you won't have to stretch much on $400. Otherwise, you may have to drop the XP2500+ for a 1700+ and see what overclocking you can do on it, drop the Ti4200 for a Radeon 9100, etc.

Hot deals does own! I got a DVD burner for $64, a 128MB CF card for $3, a free WD 40GB 7200RPM drive, et cetera 🙂
