Plz Help with a solution to my Problem: -
I have a P4 2.8GHz processor with Intel 865GBF mother board, And I have also got Creative 5.1 speakers.
I am facing the following Problems:
1. According to intel this mother board has got a onboard sound card with automatic Jack sensing for use with 5.1 speaker system. Which means that it can sense and configure the rear three sound card jacks that are(Mic in, Line in, and Line out) for the speakers like (Front Channel, Rear Channel, Center+Subwoofer)Automatically,
Now My problem is that if these Jacks are used by the 5.1 speaker system then How can I feed Line-in input from my TV tuner card or for that matter any other source as there is no jack available.
Mic-in and Line-out one can get in the Front Panel taking out connections from the mother board, but there is no way or jack for Line-in.
Is there a solution to this type of problem/configuration where in I can get Line-in and all the 5.1 speakers connected at the same time?
or I need to put another sound card.....
2. When I play audio cds in the cd drive of the pc I do not get sound from all the 5.1 speakers, Why is that so... I have tried with WinAmp.
Please Advice a Solution for my problem.
