help! need to resize partitions

RU482

Lifer
I've got a machine running XP pro. The 100GB hard drive has two partitions, C and D.

The C partition is 51GB, w/ 40 GB free space
The D partition is 15.7GB, with 0.5 GB free space
The rest is unallocated

In the end, I want the C partition to be 15GB, and the D partition to take up the rest of the drive (lets call it 85GB for simplicity's sake)

Anyone have advice on how I go about doing this?

First backup all of you data in case of disaster. Then download Gparted and burn that to a cd as an .iso. Boot to that cd, and you should be able to resize your partitions then.
