I just bought the retail P4 1.6A and a Soyo P4S Dragon Ultra, I would like to get all the inputs from who have or are owning this board combo. I would like to hear the ups and downs of the board. I plan to take it over 133Mhz bus speed. I cannot find a good reviews on the board about the bad overclocking issues. If you have other board suggestion, please do so before I cannot return it after 30 days.

What is the difference b/w this board and the Soyo P4S-645DX Dragon Ultra? I notice the chipset is b/w SiS 645 / 961Chipset VS. SIS 645DX / 961B chipset.

Here is the kind of board that I am looking for:
-RAID on board.
-6 PCI slots.
-3 DIMM slots.
-On board ethernet.
-USB 2.0 optional.
-Good overclock capabilities.
Thanks for the inputs.

Sounds like a Fry's combo deal. I got the same board with 2.0a p4. The board is ok, but not a great overclocker. The latest bios version is P4sx2ba3. It boots up so fast, you may have to disable fast boot to give yourself time to check the bios number of your board. The board has problems running above 1.65 volts. It doesn't cold boot well. I don't recommend using the dip switches to lock agp pci bus speeds, as the cmos jumper only works when the dip switches are set at the default setting. I'm running mine at 1.6 volts and 122 fsb (2.44), although I was able to use the "wire trick" to get the default cpu vcore to 1.71 and 133 fsb. Unfortunately, this caused bios instability or freeze-ups, so I removed the wires and reflashed the bios; now everything is back to normal. Not a bad board for price and features, just not a great overclocker. You should make it to at least 133 fsb at 1.6-1.65 volts. I tried the sis 645dx dragon ultra briefly, but fried the bios with a bad flash. It had an agp lock with the standard bios (not on the latest bios which I tried to flash). I ran a 2.26 at 145 fsb with no problems.

So you are saying that the 645DX Soyo board is better and able to get to 145 bus speed?
