help! need recommendations for a upgrade!

I have a PII350 which I plan to upgrade. I am looking at the Athlon 1.33GHZ, 266FSB but I am not sure about the mainboard. Which one should I go for? I heard that the VIA chipset is not highly recommened. Do I need to go for one with the AMD chipset? if so which one? any help highly appreciated!

If you have the budget go with AMD since it is more stable.
For AMD chipset go with AMD 761.

I recommend Epox 8K7A highly.

but doesnt that come with the VIA chipset for the southbridge? no problems?

I have no problem with it at all, for any via related issue or concern you could go to www.viahardware.com.

They have some good article about a couple issue concerning via chipset.
