Help need on upgrading my old laptop system (98 to 2000)

Hi, guys

Got a serious problem when I was trying to upgrade my OS from 98 to 2000.

I am using an old laptop (TOSHIBA Satellite 4025 CDT) which is running WIN 98. But after I formatted the hard drive, I found the CD-Rom disappears! I've tried to use both Win 98 and Win 2000 start up disks to boot up. No working. :|

Now, since the laptop doesn't have a built-in network card, it sounds impossible for me to install the OS from the LAN. And, the TOSHIBA laptop has a different hard drive from the other manufacturers. I have tried to use it on a HP laptop, no working!

I've tried to contact with the technical support of TOSHIBA but they are closed at this time! 🙁

Any comments will be appreciated!
