I don't think you understand just how hard it is to locate housing, especially university-proximate housing in Los Angeles. Finding such an apartment that ALSO accepts cats is damn near impossible.

Exactly. A lot of places anywhere you go won't take cats. My wife and I were very lucky to find a great place that does take cats (albeit with a $500 pet deposit, in addition to the $700 deposit for the apartment itself).

Amnesiac: Wish I could help you out, but don't have room for another kitty and I'm in San Diego, besides. :(

I was in the same boat for a little while (you might have seen my thread about that) but a loophole in our lease allowed us to keep our 3rd cat for now. Good luck finding a home for the kitty!

aha i thought this thread was about ur cat and the loophole didn't work out..well glad it did :)

dang 500 bucks...sheesh....well, ours is 300 bucks...archstone la jolla...


good rucks! i know couple people in around LA area...i'll probably ask around if i can get a hold of 'em...doesn't dezign live in the LA area or something?..
