hey i have a recently bought m-audio interface...recently bought hp i.3 core with windows 8.1....ok..i do music ....i have maybe a 2-3 yr old pair of YAMAHA HS5s...but only one hooked up....even without the input/output wire inside the speaker it have a loud bussing sound....jus mmmmm humming away...ok i adjusted the wre a bit n it went away....but now when i actually play music via youtube throught the one speaker...it pops click and snap....i adujust the volume on the speaker from the back and it pops n snaps from a single twist....if i go loud its good the pops an snaps .....now at one point it was good....so on the other side of my lptop i inserted my usb tht power and external hardrive with other files tht didnt fit on my other laptop.....which by the way was mixing music and plugged in another power source to the outlet and everything went off long story short i surged n blow my mother board...ok sooo i plug in my external hardrive to get some files offf n immediately i heard and loud roar..i unply the usb wait plug back in n a loud roar again....!!!i unplug the speaker from the interface which is usb to my ide side of my laptop...then plug the external hardrive in the left side of my laptop n its all good no noise but when ever i hook up the speaker the roar???????HELP...just playing or twisting the volume .. let alone the other 4 little adjuster with each having mid high and low options it clicks..snaps and popsss....what can i do..please im wasting time n money from recording!!!
