HELP! Need help recovering lost data in WinXP

I have alreayd tried EasyRecovery and that is not helping. Any other methods? Scandisk does absolutely nothing, might have somehting to do with Defrag not even recognizing the partition? I can't do it from a 98 boot disk because it is an NTFS partition. THanks is advance.
