help: need an advice in power supply

hi, im currently ordering parts for my computer that im building it for the first time. and i was wondering if 400w power supply was enough.

comp specs are:
p4 2.8ghz
asus motherboard
geforcefx 5600 256mbs
512 ram
3 Hard drives
standard cd-rw/dvd
floppy

i heard from some people that 400w power supply might not be enough? i dont know. any advice on this?

If you stick with reliable name brand such as Antec, Enermax, Sparkle, etc 400watts is plenty.

as long as its brand name, a quality psu, then 400w would be enough
350 may even do it

oh, consider a second optical drive if you plan on any disc to disc burning 🙂
