HELP! Need a USB harddrive (MP3 capability a plus)

Is there an mp3 player out there that works like the iPod but with USB, where there is a really large harddrive that you can plug into a computer and use as a storage device as well as listen to mp3s from?

If so, I would really be interested in that, as I need to travel a lot now, and need a lot of storage when I travel.

Otherwise, is there a USB external harddrive adapter that doesn't need an AC outlet?

those big usb flash drives are kinda expensive...

i think i recently saw a 256mb usb pen drive for around $10-$20 on hot deals though (after rebates, which probably will never come anyway)

couldent you just buy a 2 gig micro drive and make it work that way

I guess I'll just end up getting a USB 2.0/Firewire external enclosure and pulling a 120 to put into it, since that appears it will be the cheapest. I just wanted to get something that would do MP3 too, but that doesn't sound like it's feasible.

Anyone know of an external enclosure that doesn't require an additional AC power adapter?
