Not to get to deep here. My wife has been receiving threatening phone calls from a lady; we had our phone change to an unlisted/unpublished number. Now we are receiving threatening letters. The police say we can't do anything until she physically does something wrong. So I am looking for a cam that I can connect to my computer so it will take pictures when it sees movement.
Can anyone help me here?
Thanks in advance

why not look into the x10 cameras my friend swears by them but in one ear out the other for me

sorry hope this helps

Thanks,
I checked them out. They don't say what the res is of the cam. I E-mailed them,so hopfuly they will reply.
Thanks again

The logitech cams come with sw that does that. I use it at work when I leave the office. Youd be suprised what the cleaning people do when youre not there! 🙂

There's a program out there somewhere called Gotcha. I don't know if it still is around, it was a few years ago that I saw it. But software is out there to detect motion. It can take still frames or record some video when it detects motion. I don't remember much more about it though, sorry.

If you have the money, get firewire web cams. 30fps @ 640x480 uncompressed video. Might make a difference between seeing someone's face or a blurry spot. I think two popular brands are Pyro and I-bot, around $100 - $150.
